  • Stampings
  • Pipe
  • Construction equipment
  • Metal buildings
  • Material Handling
  • Wheel rims

To make Hot Rolled Steel, iron ore is first melted in a blast furnace to make molten steel. This molten steel is cast into slabs and then hot rolled in a mill to form coils at various thicknesses, widths, with varying chemical and mechanical properties. Hot rolled Steel is then pickled and oiled to remove impurities and prevent rust.

Hot rolled steel is a base substrate that can be coated to create Galvanized steel and other coated steel products.

Formability: Hot Rolled steel is more malleable and ductile than cold-rolled steel, making it easier to shape into desired forms and structures.

Strength: While not as strong as some other types of steel produced through cold rolling or other processes, Hot Rolled steel still offers sufficient strength for many applications, especially in structural components.

Weldability: Hot Rolled steel generally has good weldability, allowing for ease of fabrication and joining.

Versatility: It is used in a wide range of industries and applications, including construction (beams, columns, structural shapes), automotive (frames, chassis), manufacturing (pipes, tubing), and general engineering.
